Michael N. Sherrod

Our beloved Michael Norman Sherrod has gone to be with the Lord. He was a great man, a loving father, as well as a loving husband. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine “Katybug” Sherrod; mother, Gladys Sherrod; father, Jay Sherrod; and brother, David Sherrod. He leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years, Kathy Sherrod; daughter, Kristi Paul; son, Larry Paul and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Joshua Paul and Kelsey Paul; sisters, Nancy Langston and Robin Lane; brothers, Johnny Sherrod, Jay Walter Sherrod and Bruce Sherrod. He also leaves behind a special friend, Jana Williams. A special thank you to Priority Health Care. He may be gone from this world, but he will never be forgotten. A service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, with Dr. Charles Wender officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., prior to the service. Family and friends will meet on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery for the interment, with full military honors.
