Dear Judy and family. Heartfelt condolences as you say goodbye to Mika's earthly body. She now is home, dancing with Jesus and the angels and getting a first hand look at heaven and all of its wonders. Hugs for you all as you mourn her passing. Much love, Denise

I am just now reading the obituary, because I am so bad with doing “web stuff” and social media… Mika would laugh about this I’m sure. As I attended the beautiful celebratory ceremony for our lovely Mika, I looked at her picture and prayed to her and spoke to her spiritually, and told her I never thanked her for the special friendship that we had, for her being my friend, that was so unique as our boys were in kindergarten together when “learning was hard”, and we’ve been friends ever since for 10 years. I so very much cherish that our children have been the best of friends for all of those years...and still today, all 4 of our children. I feel grateful and honored to have known Mika, and to know the Motes Family; Robert, Mika, Brayden & Addison (Addie)! We will continue to be friends, and God willing, be able to continue to make memories together... with Mika looking down on us and being a part of our lives for always! All our Love, The ATL Zimmermans

Mika and her family was a much loved neighbor on Forestdale Drive in Atlanta.
She was such a lovely lady and a wonderful addition to our 25 year old Book Club.
We miss her terribly and send our love and condolences to Robert and her beautiful children.

I want to express my deepest sympathy and condolences to Robert, Braden, Addison and all of Mika's family members. I knew Mika from IDI. She hired me as an accountant in 1996 after I moved to Atlanta as a newlywed during the summer of the Olympic Games. I remember going to an event with Kembree and meeting her parents who were visiting at the time. I'm so grateful that she took a chance on me all those years ago and I worked with her for three years after which she moved into another role. She was an amazing boss and friend. She was always so calm, cool and collected and very patient and understanding. I loved working for her. I know she will be missed by many and has touched so many lives so positively. Knowing that she is no longer suffering and in pain brings a little comfort to those who knew and loved her. We can carry on her legacy and continue being examples of the amazing wife, mother and daughter that she was.

My thoughts and prayers are with this precious family. I had the opportunity to meet weekly with Mika via a zoom bible study over the past several months. What a blessing it has been to be able to renew an acquaintance and also meet her family. May you find peace going forward knowing that Mika has reached her heavenly home and is no longer fighting this terrible disease.

I want to pass along my sympathies for Mika's passing. I worked with her for several years at IDI and she was one of the first to welcome me to the company and Atlanta. I am saddened by the loss but will always think about her kindness and friendly smile. My prayers are with Robert, their children and the whole family.
