Myrtle Jane Evans, 81, passed away on May 6, 2018. She was a longtime member of Tekoa Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking, dancing and spending time in the Smoky Mountains.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her father, John; mother, Mamie; and her brother John Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Vaughn; her two sons, Tim (Melanie) and Jeff (Jolene); grandchildren, Heather, Aaron and John.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville. There will be a Chapel Service at 1:00 pm with an Entombment Service to follow in Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Bill Dean and Associate Pastor Jamie Webber will officiate the services.
