Dykes, Naomi Elizabeth –age 89 of Knox County, went home to be with the Lord at Hillcrest North Nursing Home on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She was a homemaker and loving mother to all who knew her. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond R. Dykes, Sr.; son, Anthony Dale Dykes; parents, Elmer L. Burkhart and Alice S. Foust. She is survived by son, Raymond R. (Chippy) Dykes, Jr.; daughters, Deborah F. Dykes of Germany, Frances K. Dykes; grandchildren, Tommy L. Dykes, Gregory Scott Dykes and Jamie N. Fletcher; great-grandchild, Haley Elizabeth Dykes. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM.
