Norma F. "Tooter" France

Norma F. “Tooter” France, age 82 of Knoxville, passed away December 17, 2021. She was of the Baptist faith, taught Sunday school, and was a youth leader. Tooter had a great sense of humor and was great at telling stories to her grandchildren. She was a very patient woman and was full of grace; she loved her plants and flowers. Preceded in death by parents, J. Mack and Naomi French; husband, Kenneth France; sister, Emmie Holbert; brothers, Johnny and Robert Stanley French. Survived by her children, Sandra (Tony) Owens, Ronnie (Jenny) France, Jeff (Melissa) France; grandchildren, Kenny, Jacob, Kelsey, Karley, Savannah, Mariah and Aliza; great-grandchildren, Corbin, Teagan and Nathan; brothers, Wayne (Trula) French, Joe French, and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday at Weaver’s Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with the service to follow. Rev Ed Cloud officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday 12:00 pm at Resthaven Cemetery in Newport for interment. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Cades Adult Care at Concord United Methodist Church.
