Blankenship, Ora Lee - AGE 92 of Ider, Alabama, went to be with the Lord, September 21, 2015. Ora had been a nurse for over fifty years before her retirement in 2003. She was preceded in death by: her mother Althea Hensley; loving husband of 69 years, Russell Blankenship; son James C. Blankenship; grandson Charles N. Fleeman Jr.; granddaughter Emily Davis; brothers, Harvey Howell and Hartsell Howell, son-in-law Charles N. Fleeman Sr. She is survived by her daughters; Bettie Fleeman (Knoxville, TN) Yvonne Case and son-in-law David Case (Ider, Al); daughter-in-law, Shirley Blankenship; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, September 25th from 6-8 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home on Chapman Highway with Funeral Services to follow in the Chapel.
