Patricia DeMarcus Shipman

Patricia DeMarcus Shipman born on March 9, 1948 left her Earthly body and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 28, 2022. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her soulmate, Dennis, her parents and other loved ones.

Patricia was the most caring and loving mother to her children and taught them at an early age the importance of treating others with respect, kindness and love. Patricia, known as Pat to her friends and Tricia to her family, had a special gift of making everyone feel like family.

Pat’s greatest love and purpose in life was to be the best Nana in the world to her 6 grandchildren. According to them, she impacted everyone’s life in the best way. She taught them how to love each other, show compassion to everyone and that family is the most important value.

Everyone she met, she treated like family and never met a stranger. She was loved by everyone who came in contact with her. She was a beautiful soul that will truly be missed and never forgotten.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel DeMarcus, her brothers Don (Rose) DeMarcus, Mack (JoAnn) DeMarcus, Lonnie DeMarcus. Her sisters Barbara (Bill) Miller, Sue (George) Miller, her husband Dennis Shipman

Patricia is survived by her sons: Kevin (Marie) Charkosky and Jason (Vickie) Charkosky; her Daughter Jennifer (Brian) Stringfield; her Grandchildren Shane Chipley, Alexander Charkosky, Alyssa Stringfield, Sarah Charkosky, Eryn Charkosky, and Lexi Stringfield.

Also survived by special cousin Connie Hurst; lifelong friend Sue Mross; several nieces and nephews; cousins and hundreds and hundreds of friends
