Paul L. Noce Jr., 80, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully in his sleep on 22 April. Paul served four honorable years in the United States Navy and moved back to Knoxville following his service where he eventually began working for Overnite Transportation Company; retiring after almost 30 years in 2006. An avid UT sports fan, Paul ushered at Stokely Athletic Center, Thompson-Boling Arena, and Neyland Stadium respectively, and was recognized in 2022 as the one of the longest tenured ushers for UT Football. A distinction of which he was extremely proud. Dedicated to youth sports, Paul gave freely of his time and resources to promote athletic opportunities to young men who otherwise may not have been able to participate. For his efforts, he should be remembered and celebrated for the countless lives he touched by his selflessness. A dedicated father and husband, Paul is preceded in death by his father and mother; Paul L. Noce Sr. and Zettie Noce, and brother Michael Noce. He is survived by his wife, Carrol Noce; son Tony Noce, daughter-in-law Gretchen and grandson Tanner, and brother Joe Noce. Paul will be greatly missed by those who chose to love him. The family invites you to his visitation at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, 27 April from 3-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you to give freely of your time and resources to those less fortunate. Family and friends can share condolences online at www.berryhighlandmemorial.com.
