OBITUARY

Peter Udo Boehme

26 June, 1950 – 12 October, 2025
IN THE CARE OF

Berry Highland West

Peter Udo Boehme, 75, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by his loving family.

A proud graduate of Purdue University, Peter earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and went on to enjoy a career marked by curiosity, precision, and craftsmanship. He was an active member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs and the Machinist's Mate Association, both of which reflected his lifelong passion for engineering and camaraderie.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and Heinz Boehme. He is survived by his adoring wife, Mary Boehme; loving daughters, Jennifer Troy and Heather Campbell; cherished grandchildren, Daniel Troy, Colton Troy, Mikayla Campbell, and Amelia Troy; and his brother, Hans Boehme.

To know Peter was to love him. A gentle giant, he had a gift for making those around him smile. His grandchildren were his greatest joy, and through his marriage to Mary, he showed all who knew him what true love and partnership look like. Adored by his daughters, Peter taught them the value of compassion, laughter, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Per Peter’s wishes, there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at www.lbda.org or the Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org
