Powell, Prince Kathleen left this Earth for her heavenly home on April 22, 2012. She was born on November 2, 1917 to Jess and Lovenia Scarbrough. She remained active and alert until the end of her life on Earth and leaves behind much evidence of her accomplishments and her caring about anyone who was blessed to be a part of her life. Prince was preceded by parents; husband, Evans Powell and 3 children and a grandson. Survived by Bettye, Johnny and Beverly and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 6-8 PM with service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Jack W. Arwood officiating.
