Ruth Adams, 99, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020. She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church. Ruth and her husband, Paul Adams served as minister of music in many Baptist churches in the south. She graduated from Carson Newman University. Ruth worked for many years at U.T. Baptist Student Union. She was preceded in death by parents, Calvin and Ruth Ford; husband of 67 years, Paul Adams; daughter, Peggie Adams Terrell; sister, Charlotte Ford Barnett. Ruth is survived by, sister, Betty Ford Lyle; son, Marvin Adams. Family and friends will meet Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Rev.
