Sexton, Richard Beal, age 71, of Kodak passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at Fort Sanders Transitional Care. He was preceded in death by brother, Buddy Sexton and sister, Barbara Kelley. Survivors include: wife, Jean Sexton; children, Brian Sexton and Richard Sexton; stepson, Ray Hayes; stepdaughter, Betty Collins; grandchildren: Richard Sterling Sexton, Maresa Tinker, and Betsy Pizzolongo; and great grandson, Aidan Sexton. The family will receive friends from at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Saturday, October 8th. A funeral service will follow at 8pm with Rev. Doyle Wolfenbarger officiating. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Sunday, October 9th at 12pm.
