Rick dedicated many years of service to Y-12 before pursuing his true passion as a marine mechanic, a career that reflected both his skillful hands and love of the outdoors. He found his greatest joy on the water, fishing whenever he could, and spending cherished time with his grandchildren and great-grandson. Rick had a deep appreciation for nature and all things outdoors, and his adventurous spirit and warm presence will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Hunt (Sue Hunt); daughters, Brandy Manley (Matthew Manley) and Crissi Hunt; grandchildren, Savannah Manley, Alex Bailey (Eric Bailey), Jeremy Hunt (Taylor Hunt), Karlie Manley, and Ella Hunt; and his great-grandson, Lincoln Bailey. Each of them carries forward the love and memories he shared so generously.
Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Crawford Hunt; his father, Thomas C. Hunt (Gladys Raby Hunt); and his siblings, Dorothy Hunt Castleberry, Howard Hunt, Juanita Hunt Allison, and Jack Hunt.
