Robert E. Jones age 99 of Knoxville, passed away December 1, 2025 at his home. He was a member of Walridge Baptist Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He loved fishing, hiking and camping. Preceded in death by wife of 42 years, Ethel Jones; parents, Robert and Elizabeth Jones and son, Robert Jones, Jr.
Survived by daughter, Trudy Jones; grandchildren, Tina (Bill) Bailey, Dyani Heinz and partner Chris Farr, Bo (Michelle) Jones, Brad (Allison) Jones and Brent (Kristen) Jones ; 5 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to caregiver, Daisy Smith. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 pm Saturday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park for a 1:30 pm graveside service.
