Rodney “Ron” L. McMahon age 78 of Knoxville, passed away May 21, 2025. He was a proud Marine Corp Veteran and after the Marine Corp he retired from Merita Bakery. Ron was a loving husband, father, brother, and Grandpa and Papo. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Ruth McMahon, Mary Carol Kirkley, mother of children Ronnie Lee and Robert; brother, Warren McMahon; sister, Sandra.
Survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat;” sons, Ronnie Lee McMahon, Robert (Kim) McMahon; step-daughter, Lisa Wolf; grandchildren, Brittany, Jimmy, Ashley, Lakia, Ryan, and Tyler; his two pups, Mocha and Augie and brothers, Lawrence, Jr., and George McMahon. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy. for a 12:30 pm graveside service with Marine Corp Honor Guard.
