Merriman, Rodney Dale, age 52, of Knoxville passed away on Saturday February 18th, 2012 at his home. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: mother Mary Jane Merriman, brother Eddie Merriman, and sisters Carolyn Ann Merriman, and Sherry Young. Survivors include: Father Charles W. Merriman, Brothers: Jackie and wife Judy Armstrong, and Gregory Merriman; nephew Devin and wife Nancy Armstrong niece Brandi Garner; brother-in-law Jim Young; and special caretakers Tracy Word and fiancée Rhonda Owens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at McCarty-Evergreen Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 with Rev. Randy Troutman officiating.
