Ronald Dale Lockett

Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Clarence and Eilene Lockett; brothers, Velmon Lockett and Donald Lockett; and sister, Diane Lockett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Lockett; daughters, Lisa Serpas (Wayne) and Tracy Finch (Jimmy); grandsons, Wayne III, Xavier and Easton; sisters, Linda Brannen and Patricia Longmire (Dickie); brothers-in-law, Mike Green (Julia) and Don Green (Faye); sister-in-law, Sharon Rogers (Ted); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dale is also survived by dear friends who became chosen family, including Denny and Gina Osborne, Mike and Pam Hodges, and Mike and Jolene Clark.

He will be remembered for his fun-loving personality and his love for his family. Dale developed lifelong friendships and a passion for coaching his girls in softball, motorcycles, fishing and drag racing. He was very proud of being Knoxville Dragway's Foot Brake Track Champion in 2003 and 2006.

Dale was a dedicated member of Forest Grove Church and loved his church family.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM, Pastor Kevin Anderson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN on Friday, July 18, 2025.
