Ruth Dunaway, 98- our beloved Mother and Mamaw was peacefully reunited with her husband, Paul Dunaway on August 21, 2025. Ruth was a Godly lady with unconditional love and unwavering support for her family. Although she will be dearly missed, we rejoice in knowing she is completely healed and with her husband. We cling to the promise of seeing her again. She will be missed by her children Connie Gard (Dan) and Gary Dunaway (Melody), grandchildren Dana Martin (Jason), Chris Gard (Tabatha), Beth Antone, Amanda Coto (Adam), and Amber Dunaway, and 12 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Sarah Huckaby and Marcie Dunaway and several nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to the Concord Place staff and Ruth’s nurse, Cheryse. Lester Morgan will officiate Ruth’s graveside service at Stoney Point Baptist Church 12424 Couch Mill Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932 on Sunday, August 24 at 2:00 PM.
