Sayne, Ruth Irene Messer Catlett, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2013. Ruth was a member of Gayland Heights Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husbands Gordon W. Catlett and A.C. Sayne; sons Gordon R. Catlett, Sr. and Marvin Sayne. She is survived by daughter Willa Dean Catlett Ballinger; son, Tony (Pat) Catlett; daughters-in-law, Sue Catlett and Myrna Sayne; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Ruth worked for Dr. William Holt. Special thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Swilley for his care. Family and friends will meet for an 11:00 am graveside service on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Dr. Chad Rittenhouse officiating.
