

Scott attended Old Time Gospel Baptist Church in Seymour, Tennessee. He was a professional photographer for Real Estate Book Company. He was an avid UT Vols fan. Scott enjoyed his German Shepherd dogs, and his favorite was London. He graduated from Karns High School in 1982 and went on to school for small engine repair. Scott enjoyed fishing, grilling, all kinds of music, movies, in particular, Batman and Lord of the Rings. He and "The Brown Man" (Christopher) called themselves the "Caped Crusaders." Scott enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a heart of gold, and was always willing to give the shirt off his back. He enjoyed going to Cades Cove with his family and being outdoors. Scott had a wonderful sense of humor that would brighten up a room and anyone around him. Heaven gained a wonderful heart and soul and he will be dearly missed.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents: Dewey E. White and Mildred L White; grandparents: John R. and Mary Ruby White, Clora Cas and Leta Loveday; children: Tyler White, Spencer D.J. White, and Dorothy Ann White; sister, Terry Lynn White; great nephew, Keygan Reese; uncles: David White, Noel White; aunt, Mildred Barr and Cousins: Gary Eugene Hoskins and John Arthur “Buddy” Barr.
He is survived by his daughters: Marlo E. (White) Madejek and Alexis M. (Christopher) Hinshaw; grandchildren: Haley A. Tisdale, Sara G. Hinshaw, Kylie R. Hinshaw, Olivia Hinshaw; sister: Charlene White; brother, Darryl R. White; aunts and uncles: Dixie Lee Mayton, Steve (Lynnda) White, Jane Aldridge; cousins: Kim( Bob) McGimsey, Heather Maxwell, Jamie Jenkins, Wendy (Barry) Compton, Sunny White, Sarah (Sean) McCoy, Laura (Jason) Nowling, Mike (Missy) Smith, Robert Loveday, Billy (Jeri) Loveday, Stephen (Chandra) Mayton, Greg(Glenda) White, Jeff (Debbie) White; nephew: Jonathan Johnson; niece: Kelley Johnson; great nieces and great nephews: Elizabeth Johnson, Noah (Alayni) Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Kobe White, Kaydence Mora; great-great nieces and nephew: Lyla Johnson, Linley Johnson and Levi Johnson.
A Celebration Of Life service will be held Saturday, July 15th 2023 at 5:00pm at Old Time Gospel Baptist Church, 830 Sugarloaf Lane, Seymour, TN 37865. The family invites friends to join them in the fellowship hall following the service for refreshments.
