I will miss my beautiful and loving Aunt. She always had a smile on her face and a laugh that would light up the world. I am thankful for all the love and prayers she's sent my way over the years. She was an amazing prayer warrior and a devoted and faithful Christian. I am at peace knowing she is with our Lord and Savior and our beautiful family that has gone on before us. Rest in peace good and faithful servant, until I see you again. Thanks for loving us like your own. You'll never be forgotten. Love you always

I did not have the opportunity to really get to know her on a personal level, however I did meet her and speak with her through the Helping Hands. She always had a smile on her face and she was very friendly. She will truly be missed.

What I always admired about Shirley was how she included Belinda in everything she did. Her Xi Alpha sisters loved Belinda and enjoyed being around her. I give Shirley credit for Belinda's sweet and lovong personality. You will be missed, Sweet Friend. RIP

Shirley, was my friend, my longtime neighbor, and my Xi Alpha Sorority Sister. Her kind and gentle spirit was always comforting and inviting. Memories of her and Belinda are many and very precious to me. My last visit with Shirley at home was one of calm, serenity and peace with in her as she acknowledge her readiness to go home, she blessed me in that moment with her inner and outer beauty and it is a memory I will cherish. Shirley was able to remain in her home and it was made welcoming and inviting by her daughter Martina, for all that wanted to visit, it was very much appreciated by myself and others. During the last year of the pandemic struggle, Shirley and Belinda made several short trips out and about to deliver a sweet treat to brighten someone's day! I was a recipient of a few of those trips, Belinda would come up the driveway with a small sweet token of friendship, and a precious smile on her face, as Shirley watched and waved from the car, always saying "are you doing okay honey?" So very thoughtful, touching and gracious, just like Shirley and Belinda always were. So I leave this by saying to Sister Shirley, although I know the answer is a resounding YES..."Are you okay Honey." Praising God for answered prayers and the beautiful and bountiful life of Momma Shirley. God Bless...and He has...and He will... LL
