

Stephen Kalakaua Davis, age 66, of Crab Orchard, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. Born July 29, 1959, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, to Curtis R. and Patricia M. (Sampson) Davis, Steve graduated from Maconaquah High School in Bunker Hill, Indiana, in 1977. He proudly served six years in the United States Air Force, followed by 32 years as a semi-truck driver. He also spent eight years in Iraq as a contractor with the Department of Defense.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Kat Davis of Crab Orchard, Tennessee; daughter, Stephanie (Chad) Auld of New Haven, Indiana; sons, Stephen K. (Carol) Davis Jr. of Mosheim, Tennessee, and Damon (Caity) Davis of Smithville, Tennessee; and grandchildren Sierra and Tyeler Moreno of Garrett, Indiana, Christopher and Autumn Delcamp of New Haven, Indiana, Braden McFeters of New Haven, Indiana, Shelby Lowe of Harriman, Tennessee, Michael Lowe of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Piper Luter of Smithville, Tennessee.
He is also survived by his mother Patricia Davis of Peru, Indiana; brother Mike (Lori) Davis of Derby, Kansas; sisters Leslie (Oliver) Solum of West Melbourne, Florida, and Lauran (Tim) Turnipseed of Denver, Indiana; niece Courtney (Logan) Hunter of White Plains, Alabama; nephew Brent (Joanne) Bentley of Lineville, Alabama; goddaughter Jessica Hawkins of England; great-grandchildren Kaiden, Brinlee, Kaisen Moreno, and Aryanna Delcamp; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews including Jennifer (Ryan) Duncan of Newton, Kansas; Christopher Davis of Derby, Kansas; Matthew Davis of El Dorado, Kansas; Heather (Jeremy) Kratzer of Columbia, Indiana; Hillary Flores of Merritt Island, Florida; Curtis (Laura) Solum of West Melbourne, Florida; Shane (Jenna) Turnipseed of Kokomo, Indiana; Caleb (Abby) Turnipseed of Trussville, Alabama; Madeline and Sophia Duncan of Newton, Kansas; Brody (Hailey) Kratzer of Plainfield, Indiana; Katie Kratzer of Columbus, Indiana; Aidan, Flynn and Callum Kratzer of Columbus, Indiana; Austin Flores of Merritt Island, Florida; Jackson and Madelyn Solum of West Melbourne, Florida; and Micah, Eli, and Emma Turnipseed of Kokomo, Indiana.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him
Receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 3-5pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home. A reception will follow at The Chef's Table.
