Teresa Massengill Faulkner

Teresa Gail (Massengill) Faulkner "Doll", age 74, of Powell, TN, went to be with Jesus on August 17, 2021. She was born on July 8, 1947, to Lawrence and Virginia Massengill in Charlotte, NC. She was a long time, dedicated member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1965.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eddie Faulkner, and by her 2 daughters, Gina Faulkner Milligan, and Rebecca Faulkner Jones and her husband Brian. She also leaves her sister Janet Sue (Susie) and brother-in-law Richard Jackson, along with 5 grandchildren - Ross McCall (23) and his wife Courtney, Cameron McCall (21), Kayden Jones (18), Reese Jones (17), Caroline Milligan (15), and one great-granddaughter, Ruby Napieralski, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom she greatly loved. Teresa was dearly loved and will be missed by all of her family and many, many friends.

Teresa loved every aspect of her life, which included, first of all her love for God, her family, and her many friends. As a younger woman she served at Wallace Memorial in Evangelism Explosion "EE" and as an administrator in the child care office. She had a large host of friends that she loved being with as frequently as possible. One thing that stands out when we think of her was her determination to live life to the fullest. She especially loved camping near lakes and enjoying fun on the water. Teresa was diagnosed with a life threatening lung disease that she attacked with a vengeance, and through very hard work on her part, great medical teams, a generous organ donor family, and most of all the hundreds of prayer partners who stayed by her side throughout the last seven years, she was able to continue to live and love those she cared so much about. We as a family want to offer our appreciation for all of you who have shown your support throughout this very difficult time. Teresa truly loved each and everyone of you. In keeping with Teresa's wishes, she was able to give the gift of life back through organ donation.

The family will receive friends at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church on Friday, August 20, 2021 beginning at 5pm. A celebration of Teresa's life will follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Donate Life America in Teresa's honor.
