Terry Stanley Eubanks was welcomed by Jesus Christ into Heaven on December 29, 2025. Terry was born on August 31, 1959 in Knoxville, TN. He grew up in the Karns community, where he grew close with his cousins and formed friendships with many others that would last a lifetime. Terry developed many hobbies that were shared amongst his cousins and friends, including hot rods, bowling, and basketball. Throughout the many years he was a part of these communities, he cemented himself as a pillar within both the muscle car culture around Knoxville, and even more so, the bowling scene that covered the vast majority of the state. In 1992, his love for bowling would introduce him to the true love of his life. Terry met his wife, Kimberly Sterling Eubanks, at Family Bowl in the summer of 1992, and on September 11, 1992—just 6 weeks later—they were married. Many of Terry’s friends placed bets on how long their relationship would last, but around year 20 or so it was clear that Terry and Kim had won the bet. Shortly after their wedding, they had their first child—a daughter named Leslie—and less than two years later, their son Stephen was born. Together, they built a beautiful home, raised their two children, and continued to support each other through life’s many ups and downs. While no relationship is perfect, Terry and Kim certainly shared a bond unlike no other. Terry never met a stranger, and his kindness and sincerity were felt by all who encountered him. His easygoing nature and warm laughter touched countless lives over the years, and the impact his life had on all who met him will live on through his many family and friends. Terry is preceded in death by grandparents Hazel and George Eubanks and Ernest and Gertrude Huskey, parents George Junior Eubanks and Barbara Huskey Stewart, and Uncle J.P. Eubanks. He is survived by wife Kim Sterling Eubanks, daughter and son Leslie Eubanks and Stephen Eubanks (Stephanie), Uncle Charles Huskey (Wanda), Aunt Juanita Eubanks, sister Darlene King (Allen), and cousins David Eubanks (Gail), Darrell Eubanks (Suzanne), Dale Eubanks, and Deborah Eubanks-Hammett (Phillip), and special niece Laura Boss, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 1-5pm at Weaver Funeral Home. Hot rods are welcomed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in memory of Terry to a charity of your choice.
