Wyrick, Terry Ellis (Babe), age 96, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday June 30th, 2012 at Briarcliff Health Care Center. Babe was retired from Knoxville Iron Co. and farming. He was preceded in death by: wife Lenice A. Wyrick, daughter Bea Reed, Son-in-Law Wayne Reed, Great-grandson William Gage Harvey and nine brothers and sisters. Babe is survived by: daughters Linda (Howard) Gerth of Kingston, and Vera (Jack) Harvey of Knoxville, along with 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Special appreciation is extended to the staff and caregivers of Briarcliff Health Care, especially Stephanie Williams, CNA, of Briarcliff. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday July 4th, at 10:00 AM at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Glenna Manning officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 PM at Weaver Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
