Tim was the former owner of Page and Associates Contractors, a former student of Harrison Chilhowie Baptist Academy, now King’s Academy (where he was “kicked out of the third grade for not shavin’”), and a graduate of East Tennessee State University. He was a long-time, active member of Grace Baptist Church. He knew his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and served Him faithfully.
He is preceded in death by his devoted wife and business partner, Evelyn. He is survived by his loving wife: Carol; children: Will Tim (Debra) Page, Marianne (Scott) Smith, Lauren Scott, Alysha (Gerrit) Graves; a yard full of grandyoungans: Shawna, John, and Caleb Page, Crue Smith, Ben Scott, Olivia Graves; sister: Patsy Liptack; brothers: Maxcy Tim and Jerry Page; and a 150-year-old Christmas cactus. Tim Page was “The greatest livin’ human bein’.” He loved his family and friends, a big country breakfast, and UT football. He was a natural comedian and a master storyteller (many untrue; all embellished). We will miss his stories, one-liners, and all the laughter. Family will receive friends at Grace Baptist Church on Oak Ridge Highway, Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:30p.m. Dr. Ron Stewart will officiate the 4:30p.m. memorial service. Tim requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Tim Page scholarship fund at King’s Academy in Seymour. Arrangements by Weaver Funeral Home.
