

She was a loyal and faithful member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church where she sung in the choir, was an active deacon and was involved in missionary work. She graduated from Austin- East High School in 1972 and attended Knoxville Business College. She was a loving caregiver for Arosa Knoxville Elderly Home Care Services and was awarded caregiver of the year twice in her time providing companionship and support to her clients.
Vicki is preceded in death by her father Roy Douglass, mother Sarah W. Douglass Grandmother Susie M. Mullen, spouse Kent Allen Waters. Vicki leaves to cherish her memories, loving daughter Sara Elizabeth Waters, two brothers McArthur and Robert Douglass, two sisters Freda (James Harper) Anderson, Roberta (Colin West) Roberts, Aunt Mattie R. Poole and Sister in- law Ceceilia Waters. Nieces and nephews William & King Cade, Sean Burris, Elise & Robert “RJ” Douglass Jr. Amanda (Scott) Dean, D.J. Roberts, Kenny (Alexandria) Jones, Andrea “Tink” (Chris) Cowan, Amy (Revi) Williams. Devoted niece Salina Douglass, great nephews Jordon (Janay) Brunson, Louis L.B. Drake IV and bonus granddaughter Janiah Brunshon along with a host of nieces, nephews and dedicated loyal friend Darleen Moulden.
A visitation will be held at Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church, located at 3023 Selma Ave, Knoxville, TN, 37914, on February 26, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. The committal service will follow at 3:00 pm at Berry Highland South Cemetery, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN, 37920.
