Born April 1st 1948 in Wheeling, WV, he was preceded in death by parents Lloyd and Floren Houser and granddaughter Emily Houser. He was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. He was a dedicated Christain, Husband, Father and Grandfather.
He was an avid ham radio operator and former DJ for WNOX, WKXV and others. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Rebecca Houser, sons Matt Houser (Mandy) and Grant Houser (Trisha), Granddaughters Beth Walters (Peyton) and Grace Greene (Jacob), sister in law Tina Price, brother in law Chuck Price (Susan) and other extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Berry Funeral Home, located at 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, on January 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 7:00 pm.
The graveside service with honors will take place at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920, on January 13, 2026, at 8:30 am.
