William Glenn Moore Sr.

Moore Sr., William Glenn –age 85, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 23, 2010. Mr. Moore was a veteran of World War II. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Mr. Moore lived his life to the fullest—spending many days fishing at Douglas Lake and working in his garden. Preceded in death by his wife, Inez Moore; brothers and sisters, Kenneth Moore, Ernest Moore, Lucille Moore and Mary Parham. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, William G. and Kimberly C. Moore, Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kimmy Moore; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Gary Holmes; daughter and friend, Debbie Moore and Dee Canizales; son and daughter-in-law Ernest and Lori Moore; sister, Francis Moneymaker; brother, Ray Moore; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 27, 2010 for a graveside service, Rev. Kenneth Carpenter officiating.
