She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Willie was a founding member of the Martha Washington Heights Garden Club and was elected the first President. Mrs. Westbrook was a Contact volunteer for many years, and a Mary Kay Cosmetic consultant for over 30 years. She also held memberships in Daughters of the American Revolution, Farragut Chapter and Ossoli Circle.
She was an avid gardener, loved flower arranging and planting flowers at her home. She loved to travel the world with her husband Jack. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her deep Christian faith was an inspiration to her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Colonel Jack K. Westbrook and son Matthew K. Westbrook. She is survived by her daughter Haven Jenkins and two grandchildren Caitie E. Jenkins and Lawson W. Jenkins and sister Carole Atkins.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 9am to 11am at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN, 37919. A funeral service will be held at 11am with a graveside service to follow at Berry Highland Memorial, officiated by Rev. Gordon Ridenour.
