Wilma Jean Hicks, a devoted and faithful soul, went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2025, at the age of 90, Wilma was a resident of Seymour, Tennessee, for many years. She was known for her hard-working nature, kind-hearted spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.
Wilma was married to her beloved husband, Bill Hicks, for 65 years until his passing. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. She is survived by her son, Gary Hicks, and his wife, Kathy Hicks, as well as her grandson, Joshua Hicks, and his wife, Serena Hicks.
A dedicated member of the Union Valley Baptist Church, Wilma's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found joy in serving others and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her love for cooking was well-known among family and friends, as she delighted in preparing meals that brought people together.
Wilma Jean Hicks will be laid to rest at Berry Highland South Cemetery, located at 9010 E. Simpson Road in Knoxville. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her and were touched by her kindness and generosity.
