Wilma Jean Wilson, age 82 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord one day shy of her 83 birthday. Member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was a registered nurse at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center before retiring to raise her children. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother . She will be greatly missed by all.
Preceded in death by her parents, Aaron, and Jennie King; brothers, Donald, and Chester King; son, Todd Wilson; great-granddaughters, Lucie, and Olive.
Survived by her husband of 60 years, Howard; son, Tony Wilson; daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Christian, and Kelly Smith; grandchildren, Dylan, Jessie, Maggie, and Sierra; great-grandchildren, Emma, Denver, Ophelia, River, and Shepherd.
The family will receive friends at Weaver's Chapel Saturday from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm.
Family and friends will meet Sunday at 12:45 pm at Weaver Funeral Home for procession to Piney Grove Baptist Church for a 2pm interment.
