Andrew "AJ" Joseph Kendall

Andrew Joseph Kendall, 35, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on 11/11/2022. He was born on 12/06/1986 in Kokomo, IN, the son of Larry Kendall and Debbie Kendall (Sargent). Andrew attended Taylor High School, where he played football and baseball, playing in the 13 year old World Series. He worked many trades, as a painter, detailer, mechanic, general maintenance as well as other jobs. His passion was sprint cars, racing and working on them. He enjoyed four wheelers, dirt bikes, and anything to do with racing. He raced Rumble in the Dome, Peru Circus City Speedway, and many other local race tracks and events. He was a great Father to his son, Gauge, and was always there for him.

Andrew is survived by his parents, Larry and Debbie, son, Gauge, life-partner, Jennifer Williams-Kendall, step-sons, Patrick, Tyler and Nathan, sisters, Michelle (Troy) Smith, Angel (David) Golding, a very special nephew, Shawn (Katie) Rouse, along with many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Betty Sargent, Woody and Wilma Kendall, uncles Bill Nearon and Jim Kendall, aunt Wanda Gaskin, and cousin Randy Nearon.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday, November 18, from 4-7pm at Ellers Mortuary and Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster St, Kokomo. Funeral service will be at 7pm, concluding in the chapel, as Andrew will be cremated per the family's wishes. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions will be accepted for the Kendall family.
