

Carolyn Ann Boruff, 67, Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at North Woods Village. She was born March 4, 1946, in England, Arkansas, to Jesse and Lallie (McNinch) Cox. On March 22, 1965, she married Dale Boruff, and he survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Sugar and Spice Home Economic Club and the First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Monica (David) Slaughter, Carmel, Indiana, Angela (Eric) Mullett, Nashville, Tennessee, and Kelly Boruff, Kokomo; three grandchildren, Andrew Slaughter, Sophia Mullett, and Joshua Mullett; one sister, Deloris (Dee) Melton; and three brothers, Vernon Cox, Carl Cox, and Willie Ray Cox.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lillian Beck; and three brothers, Charles Cox, Bob Cox, and Alvin Cox.
The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Slack officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA.org).
