

Carolyn Metz, 66, passed away on November 27, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, with family by her side. Carolyn was born to Claude and Winifred George on January 10, 1951 in Kokomo. Carolyn was a graduate of Eastern High School. She married her husband, Timothy Metz, on April 12, 1980, and he survives. Carolyn had battled MS for more than half of her life. Carolyn enjoyed traveling with Timothy, and together they have visited 4 continents. Alaska was one of her favorite places they had visited. She also enjoyed watching gameshows on TV, and was happy to spend time with family.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Timothy Metz, children Jeremy (Jessica) Metz and Loren (Will) Bumbalough; brother Ronald (Jinger) George; grandchildren Eli Metz, Bennett Metz, and Collin Bumbalough; nieces Kelli Austin and Michelle Atkinson; and dozens of other nieces and nephews.
Carolyn is preceded in passing by her parents.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 30 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 1 at 11:00 AM, officiated by Father Arbuckle at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Kokomo Memorial Park.
