Daniel Lynn Amonett

Daniel Amonett, age 33, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne Indiana. Daniel was born on April 23, 1985 in Indianapolis to Steve and Kathlene (Smock) Amonett. Daniel graduated from Eastern High School with the class of 2004. He spent several years working as a car salesman at Kokomo Auto World, and most recently worked as a machine repairman for Tyson Foods in Logansport. On June 9, 2017, Daniel was married to Jamie (Jackson). Jamie preceded Daniel in passing on June 24, 2018. Daniel and his wife attended Fuel Church in Kokomo. He greatly enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and playing frisbee with his dog, Cub. He also enjoyed listening to music, and was always listening to the radio whether he was in his car or at home. In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his sister, Andrea (Ryan) Kaiser; brother, Anthony (Holly) Amonett; grandparents, Frank and Connie Smock; and three nieces, Leah, Aubrey, and Hannah. There will be a gathering of family and friends for Daniel at Fuel Church in Kokomo on Thursday, November 15th starting at 1:00 p.m., and a celebration of life service at 3:00 p.m.
