Daniel Alan Hutchins, 63, of Macy, passed away at 9:00 am on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his residence. He was born on November 18, 1954 in Kokomo to Kenneth R. Hutchins and the late Rosalie (Ronk) Hutchins.
When he was younger, Daniel worked for Continental Steel. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union. Daniel enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his friends and dachshunds.
Daniel is survived by companion, Nanette DeBoer; sons, Todd (Jenni) Hutchins and Travis (Carrie) Hutchins; father, Kenneth R. Hutchins; grandchildren, Jordan Hutchins, Spencer Hutchins, Delia Hutchins, and Emmett Hutchins; great-granddaughter, Kaisyn Hutchins; brother, Jeff (David Stewart) Hutchins; sisters, Cathy Matthews and Sandra (Ike) Hulet; and several nieces and nephews.
Daniel is preceded in death by his infant son, Aaron Hutchins; and mother, Rosalie Hutchins.
A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be on Saturday, June 9 at 3:00 pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Adam Novinger officiating. There will a time of visitation from 1:00 pm until time of the Celebration of Life, also on Saturday, at the mortuary.
