David Paul Goodridge, 69, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 17, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Howard and Margaret Goodridge.
David married Kim Dommer, and together they raised two sons. He retired from SIA. David was a member of the Howard County Brew Club and won several awards for his brews. He was a big sports fan with Cleveland Browns and Ohio State being his favorite teams. He enjoyed building and operating model trains and loved sharing this hobby with his friends and family. David's special memories included watching his sons' sporting events, watching his grandchildren grow and celebrating life with his family and friends.
David is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kim (Dommer) Goodridge; his sons Jon (Angel) Goodridge and Kyle Goodridge; his mother Margaret Goodridge; his sisters Deborah Goodridge, June Moore and Patricia Goodridge; his grandchildren Nicholas Maxwell and Sebastian Goodridge; father-in-law Donald Dommer; mother-in-law Hannah Dommer; brother-in-law Mark (Jodie) Dommer; many nieces and nephews; and his cat Frank. David was preceded in death by his father Howard Goodridge.
A memorial visitation for David will be held Friday, February 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
