

In 1946, Doris was married to Bernard Keith Ebert, and he preceded her in death in 1997. Doris loved going shopping, cooking, and knitting. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to people and enjoyed hosting company.
When Doris was 17, she dropped out of high school in order to work at the Chrysler Manufacturing Plant to help with the war effort during World War II.
Doris is survived by her son, Keith (Donna) Ebert; daughter-in-law, Nancy Ebert; sister, Ruth Edkins; grandchildren, Tony (Linda) Ebert, Tim Ebert (Tanya Watson), Bill (Michelle) Ebert, John Ebert, and Stacey (Wes) Henry; great-grandchildren Ashley Ebert, Kaitlyn Ebert, Nathaniel Ebert, Darius Ebert, Cora Ebert, Alexandra Ebert, Carmen Jones, Cherylyn (Tony) Rutherford, Kaeden Thomas, and Wayne Thomas; and great-great-grandchildren, Ava Ellenger, Emmalyn Pruitt, Aubrey Rutherford, and Wyatt Rutherford.
Along with her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by a son, Leslie Wayne Ebert; a baby sister; and brothers, Londa Cook, Glen Cook, and William Cook Jr.
