Dorothy L. Hubbard, 90, of Kokomo, died at 12:00 AM, February 12, 2026 at Legacy at Waterford Place. She was born July 25, 1935 in Powell County, Kentucky, the daughter of Ishmael and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jane (Townsend) Wilburn. On December 4, 1955, she married Thomas J. Hubbard, who preceded her in death on September 27, 1983.
She graduated from Logansport High School in June 1954, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Indiana University-Kokomo in 1985.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo.
In 1995, she retired from Delco Electronics where she had worked in Purchasing, Sales, and the Technical Library.
Surviving are two daughters: Brenda J. (Ronnie) Richardson and Karen S. (Dale) LeMaster, four grandsons: Jason T. (Taylor) Rink, Joel S. Rink, Tyler J. LeMaster, and Ryan P. LeMaster, two brothers: Rudell Wilburn and Donald L. (Eileen) Wilburn. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Fanny B. Tedeschi, and brother Ishmael (Sharon) Wilburn.
Visitation will be held at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, IN, 46902, on February 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will immediately follow, officiated by Rev. Steve Colter, with entombment at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
