Eddie L. Glover, 77, Greentown, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at his home. He was born December 14, 1935, in Bedford, to Frank Glover and Sabina (Swango) Hamilton. On September 11, 1986, he married Charlotte (Pickering) Glover, and she survives.
He served in the United States Air Force and worked for Chrysler for 30 years before retiring in 1989. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of UAW Local 1166.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Candace (Bill) Green; five step-children; five sisters, Cheryl Dillard, Beverly Trowbridge, Mary Alice Schlehuser, Vicki Harrison, and Tona Moore; 17 step-grandchildren; 28 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother; and step-mother, Ruth Glover.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Chaplain Virgil Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
