Emily L. Ross

Emily L. Ross, 67, of Kokomo passed away at 7:55 AM Monday September 9, 2019 at Community Howard Regional Health, Kokomo. Born November 7, 1951 in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Hiram Flick and Wilma (Harrison) Flick. She was married to Robert Dewey Barnes, and he preceded her in death. She had also been married to John H. Ross, and he survives. She was a waitress most her life and worked at big Wheel, Chi-Chi's and other area restaurants. She loved playing BINGO. Survivors include one son Matthew James (Aimee) Barnes of Kokomo; one daughter Stephanie Lynn Ross of Greentown; one brother Billy Flick of Kokomo; one sister Marjorie Cochran of Sharpsville; also five grandchildren Virginia, Abbey, Jaden, Jasmine, and Allie, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, one son Gregory Allen Barnes, one brother Larry Flick, one sister Sandra Flick. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Jeff Sexton will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden, Kokomo. The family will receive friends from 11-1 Friday at the mortuary.
