Garrett Ray Johnson

He graduated from Western High School in 1987. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, and playing corn hole and absolutely loved coaching his kids in baseball.

He is survived by his wife of five years, Tara Johnson; his parents; his children, Derrick Pasquale, Madison Hinkle, Alexander Johnson, and Ray Johnson Jr.; step-children, Brandon Lawrence and Clayton Lawrence; siblings, Glen “Dickie” (Laura) Johnson, Gina (John) Smith, and Ginger Jefferis; nieces and nephews, Amber, Chase, and Bailey Johnson, Cameron and Tiara Kendall, Haley Jackson, and Taylor and Nick Jefferis; and step-nieces and nephews, Whitney, Kyle and Michael Tate, and Noah, Harley and Cody Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Pansy Haworth, Harold “Duke” and Esther Johnson, and nephew, David Johnson.

A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 on Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Victory Church of God, 2216 E. 100 N., Kokomo, with Pastor Herman Gorham officiating. Burial will take place in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home to assist with the arrangements.
