Gloria Jean Hartman

She was born June 27, 1943 to the late Orley "Joe" and Goldie Cook in Linton, Indiana. Gloria married Frederick Hartman in 1960, they were married for 56 years before he passed in 2016.

She retired from Delphi Automotive after 30 plus years. Gloria lived in Deer Creek for more than 40 years. She was a true animal lover, having raised several, and an avid bird watcher. She collected Depression glass as a side hobby.

Gloria is survived by her children Roger Hartman (Linda) and Pamela Johnson; her brother Danny Cook; her grandchildren Stephanie Tate (Daniel), Joseph Johnson, Jason Gordon (Jessica); her nieces Valerie Cornelius (Greg), Renee Summers (Eric), Allison Rish, Amanda Glassburn; her nephews Wade Cook (Lisa), Brent Cook (Jen); her great granddaughters Halie Baer (Jared), Jasmine Tate and Danielle Tate. She was also expecting her first great great grandchild in December of this year.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her stepmother Marlene Cook; brother Billy Cook; son-in-law Mark Johnson; and sister-in-law Sandy Cook.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Deer Creek Presbyterian Church, 4450 IN-29, Camden, IN 46917, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gloria's name to your local Humane Society.
