Harold George Krippenstapel Jr.

Harold George Krippenstapel Jr., 65, Kokomo passed peacefully on December 21st, 2017 at Wellbrooke of Kokomo. Harold was born on August 9th, 1952 in Kokomo to his parents Harold George Krippenstapel Sr. and Barbara Wagner. He married Patty Christopher on February 21st, 2003 in Kokomo. Harold is survived by his wife Patty, children Eric H. (Cindy) Krippenstapel, Rose Krippenstapel, step-daughter Rhiannon Hart; brothers Lee (Julie) Wagner and John (Mary) Adams; sisters Jan (Ron) Warner, Pam Ludlum, and Karen Dean. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren Kaiden, Pepper, Eros, Ryne, Angelika, Braeden, Jaeley, and many nieces and nephews. Harold was a graduated of Kokomo High School and then enlisted in the United States Army, serving our country proudly during the Vietnam War. After returning from the war he began his career with Chrysler and retired after 30 years of faithful service. Harold enjoyed going to the shooting range, attending gun shows, and riding his horse Willy. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and most of all his parrot of 27 years, Felipe. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kristeen Martins. Memorial Contributions may be made to Howard County Vietnam Veterans "Healing Grounds Fund" (8313 CR E 400 S Greentown, IN 46936) Services will be Thursday December 28th at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior and Wednesday December 27th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with Pastor Dennis Chapman officiating at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
