Helen L Sanders

Helen L Sanders, age 92, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Helen was born March 21, 1930 in Kokomo to the late Harry and Anna Shepherd. She married Charles Sanders on August 26, 1961 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1996. Helen was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was a very good cook and loved to feed her family and friends. Helen was the matriarch of her family and she will very much be missed by her family. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Bailey and Helen Moss (Tim Hughes); son, Jeff (Penny) Ford; grandchildren, David Bailey, Joe (Missy) Bailey, Heather (Brent) Baker, Tony Ford, Bambi Ford, Neal Ford, Linda Sue Ford, Melissa Ford; 17 great-grandchildren; many great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her loving husband of 35 years, Charles; and son, Larry Ford. There will be time of visitation on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 12:00 P.M. at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Burial will follow to Albright Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Tyler Beeman, Taylon Latta, David J. Bailey, Kyle Bailey, Justin Bailey, and Austin Bailey. Memorial contribution may be made in Helen's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
