On November 12, 1957, Janet was married to Gary Wicks in Kokomo. Gary preceded Janet in passing on October 24, 2004. Janet had worked as a data processor for Delco Electronics for over 20 years, retiring in 1982. Janet was actively involved with Kokomo’s Widow-to-Widow group, and also enjoyed playing cards and board games. More than anything, Janet loved to spend time with her children and great grandchildren.
Janet is survived by her sons, Stephen Wicks and Jeffrey Wicks; grandchildren, Melanie, Allison, Samuel, and Cara; and great grandchildren, Braiden and Aiden.
There will be a public visitation for Janet held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Friday, December 6th from 1:30 pm to 3 pm, followed immediately by a funeral service.
Memorial contributions in Janet’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
