

Joseph "Joe" Edmond Adair Jr., age 63, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Community Howard Regional Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1959 to Joseph Edmond Adair Sr. and Helen (Barlow) Adair in Kokomo, Indiana. He married Kimberly (Lange) Adair on June 25, 1995 in Gatlinburg, TN, and she preceded him in death on October 21, 2004.
Joe worked as a farmer with his father, Joseph, all of his life in Howard and Tipton counties. Together, they built Adair Farms. He was a member of IPL (Indiana Pulling League) for six years and won first place for Hot Farm Division in 2021. When Joe wasn't taking care of the farm, he spent time with his father, children and grandchildren who he loved very much. Joe enjoyed sharing stories with his children. He had great love for the Adair Family including his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins. Joe especially treasured his mother, Helen.
Surviving Joe are his children, Leighton (Natasha) Adair, Chelsea (Brandon) Brooks, Andrea (Adam) Buchko, and Cami (Justin) Sparks; grandchildren, Lindsay, Emma, Aubrey, Weston, and Grady; his parents, Joseph and Helen Adair; siblings, Ruth (Mike) Thompson, Terri (Les) Strunk, and bonus brother, Steve (Sherri) Belcher; cousin, Brian Adair and his sons; and friends, Joe Ellis and Randy Bogue.
Preceded in death by his wife, Kim; and brothers, John (Arlene) Adair and Larry "Doc" Dockerty.
There will be a time of visitation for Joe on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Tipton County 4H Building, 1200 South Main Street, Tipton, IN 46072 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Brad Swain will be officiating. Burial will follow to Albright Cemetery.
