Marcia Lee Slusher

Marcia was born on August 12th, 1933 in Peru, IN to her parents James L. and Nellie J. Harris (Alyea).

Marcia was married to William C. Slusher who passed on March 14th, 1979

Marcia is survived by her children Mark (Suzanne) Slusher of Greentown, Patrick Slusher of Pittsboro, and Catherine “Kate” Slusher of Kokomo; grandchildren Matthew Slusher, Jordan Slusher, Jennifer (Ben) Hanssens, Mitchell Slusher, and four great grandchildren

She loved dogs, especially standard poodles which she was able to express through her career at the Kokomo Animal Hospital. After retiring she continued grooming and boarding dogs at her home. She was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzle books of all sorts. Marcia was a graduate of Peru high school. She attended Sycamore Friends Church.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, husband William C. Slusher, and brother James Harris

Services will be held Monday March 20th, 2017 at 1:00pm at Ellers Mortuary (3400 S Webster Street 46902) with Pastor Jesse Vore officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery (Greentown, IN)

In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Sycamore Friends Church (1148 N 1100 E Greentown, IN 46936)
