Marilyn J Irwin

Marilyn Jean Irwin, age 78, passed away on November 19, 2018 in Kokomo. She was born on August 7, 1940 as one of ten children to the late Biard and Doris (Slusher) Koon in Kokomo. Marilyn graduated from high school in Kokomo, and then worked for Delco Electronics in Kokomo for 30 years before she retired. She was married to Thomas A. Irwin, and he preceded her in passing on January 12, 2013. Marilyn loved all animals, especially cats, and would take care of stray cats that she encountered. She also loved to travel, and especially enjoyed visiting Spain. Marilyn is survived by her son, Dominic Biard Shrader; stepson, Charles Irwin; daughter-in-law, Michelle Lawson; grandchildren, Faith Irwin and Haden Lawson; great grandchild, Bentley Carter Singer; and several nieces and nephews. There is an urn burial scheduled for Marilyn on Monday, December 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
